J1 tourist visiting and stopped by to get food after concert. Affordable and tasty food and great portion sizes. Great customer service. Highly recommend the tacos.

I ordered from here so I can't comment on service or ambiance. But, these things matter little when the food is so delicious. Basic picadillo tacos were so well seasoned and savory. Rice and beans were perfect. I think that it's how well a place makes the simple stuff is a reflection of how good their chefs are.

It was my first time! Delicious food! Not a big fan of their drinks. It was way to strong!

Taqueria Moran has been a staple in my family for the past 10 years of my life. My father has been eating their delicious food long before my time and I'm glad he introduced me early on in my life. Everything here is a hit. The pastor tacos are my personal favorite. The salsas are tasty and full of flavor. The chilaquiles con pollo y huevos are my all time favorite I've ever had....across many countries (I'd prefer this over my grandma's but please don't tell her) We'll be back more times than I can keep track of. Taco Tuesdays, and just because we crave it. Family orientated and so authentic. Grateful places like this in Chicago exist!

Hole in the wall right next to the blue line, some of the best tacos you will ever have, especially try the chicken one. I am not a chicken guy, but that taco was insane. Good service, nice little place that I can see myself coming back to in the near future. Beware of the complementary chips and salsa they give you, they didn't hold back on the spice!

Nice no-frills Mexican restaurant in Logan Square that really delivers on flavor and price. Service was quick and attentive. We got the carnitas and al pastor tacos, $4 each. The meat was tender, flavorful, and a generous portion size. They were attentive to the two people in my party that don't like cilantro, and specifically asked about taco toppings. They also have complimentary chips and salsa, and delicious horchata too.

A place unlike any other! Let me get into it! The food here was amazing! The quality and the freshness of all the ingredients was a game changer. I really did like the spicy level of the sauces. The service was great the waitress checked in often and asked us how we were doing which was refreshing. The atmosphere or ambiance like I call it, great decor. The colors and the seating really was like going to a welcoming home in ways. Overall, I will say give TM a shot if you want quality food!

Ordered take out for lunch and the staff was kind to direct me to the cashier where a sweet older woman assisted me. I waited about 5 minutes for my order to be prepared and she asked if I wanted pickled veggies which was nice as some places don't. I ordered 3 tacos: al pastor, carnitas, and shrimp. The shrimp and al pastor was bomb. I usually can eat 3 tacos but couldn't finish because they were super filled. Although I also had a side of rice and beans so if I didn't have that I could have eaten all 3. The carnitas was a bit soggy/mushy and it was hard to differentiate the pieces of meat inside. The rice and beans were standard and fine, nothing out of this world. Overall would definitely return for some more tacos! Note: green sauce is not spicy at all whereas red sauce is spicy.

THEY REALLY SNAPPED. This is one of the few times that I've enjoyed both really good Mexican food AND quality margaritas that doesn't cost a million dollars. The servers were attentive and kind! And everything was on point. They brought out three different salsas and chips. There was a light green salsa and it was really spicy, but so flavorful. Naturally, I continue to eat it. And guess what? They kept the chips coming! I had steak tacos and my friends had the Birria and they were quickly inhaled. We also had a side of guac and it was extremely flavorful. Lastly, the margaritas did what they needed to do! Honestly, eating here reminded me to get back to more hole in the wall, down to earth, places. This was such a gem.

So Cinco de Mayo snuck up on us this being our first week in Chicago. We wanted some tacos and that led us to Taqueria Moran, little over half a mile from our house and it was BUSY, which was understandable. The patio was full and a line was out the door so we knew we were at the right place. We decided to order our tacos to go and there was an entire different area for this which was great. Everyone that we came in contact with was nice & friendly. The young lady at the register was patient and super smiley which we loved. We ordered about 8 tacos but the Chile Relleno & Pinche tacos were stand outs. Full of meat and full of authentic flavors. YOU MUST try the Horchata... listen... I'm a HORCHATA fan and honestly this was some of the tastiest horchata I've ever had. I will be back for the LARGE cup, BIG. Oh and the margaritas were decent too.
